ENGLISH:
Our students from Eighth to Third Years of Baccalaureate led by their teachers, presented a School Assembly on the occasion of Earth Day. They carried out activities in order to raise their voice against the issue of the irresponsible use of plastic in our planet, and demonstrate with actions the participation of young people and their influence on families and the community.

The following projects were presented:

• Eighth: Posters Planet vs. Plastic
• Ninth: Reusable Shopping Bags made of old t-shirts
• Tenth: Redesign and Upcycling: A solution for Fast Fashion
• First: The effects of Micro plastics on the environment and our health
• Second Baccalaureate: presentation and direction of the School Assembly
• Third year of Baccalaureate: Fashion Show Sustainable Fashion.

It was certainly a display of creativity that for the third consecutive year the event was labelled on the World Map of the official website of www.earthday.org.
We are pleased to demonstrate the commitment generated by the students in the search to protect our home, the Earth, because it is necessary to promote “Plastic Detox”.

Nuestros estudiantes de Octavo a Tercero de Bachillerato, liderados por sus profesores, presentaron en un Minuto Cívico, las actividades que realizaron con motivo del Día de la Tierra, con el fin de elevar su voz frente a la problemática del uso irresponsable del plástico en nuestro planeta, y demostrar con acciones la participación de los jóvenes y su influencia en las familias y en la comunidad.

Se presentaron los siguientes proyectos:

• Octavo: Posters Planeta vs. Plástico
• Noveno: Fundas de Compras hechas de tela reusable de viejas camisetas

• Décimo: Rediseño y Upcycling: Una solución para la “moda rápida”
• Primero: Los efectos de Micro plásticos en el medio ambiente y nuestra salud
• Segundo Bachillerato: presentación y dirección del Minuto Cívico
• Tercero de Bachillerato: Fashion Show Moda Sostenible

Ciertamente fue un despliegue de creatividad que por tercer año consecutivo quedó inscrito en el Mapa del Mundo de la página oficial de www.earthday.org.

Nos complace evidenciar el compromiso generado por los estudiantes en la búsqueda por proteger nuestro hogar, la Tierra porque es necesario desintoxicarnos del uso irresponsable del plástico.
