The 2025 Short Film Festival Award Ceremony filled our school with excitement and pride. The celebration culminated in a dazzling Red Carpet Day at the Coliseum, where finalists for the People’s Choice and Academy Awards made their grand entrance. The atmosphere sparkled with golden characters, a mime, and the energy of our beloved reporter, Luis Felipe Pazmiño, who interviewed the stars of the day.

After the red carpet glamour, the spotlight moved to the auditorium for the official Academy Awards Ceremony. Senior students Luzianna Artea and Joaquín Albornoz brilliantly hosted the event, while judges Verónica Vera, Geovanni Becerra, Francisco Valdivieso, and Alan Falcony faced the tough job of choosing the winners. The Award Ceremony was honored by the presence of Pablo Mogrovejo, Director of the Film School at Universidad de las Américas (UDLA), with whom we have established a collaboration that will benefit our students. Additionally, we received a special video message from renowned Ecuadorian filmmaker Ana Cristina Barragán, a director celebrated with multiple national and international film awards.

All participants received certificates, and trophies were awarded to the top films and posters. Thanks to everyone’s effort, it was a heartwarming, unforgettable event. See you next year!
