ENGLISH:
This year, the English and Language subjects have joined forces to implement Project-Based Learning methodology to enhance writing, researching, and above all, speaking skills in both languages. This initiative stems from students’ interest in television, news, and the need to create a means of communication where they can share the latest news happening in their school life and around the world.
Students became reporters, delved into the most current local and international news, and then produced a news program. In this activity, they explored their creativity by seeking resources to represent the assigned task.
Throughout this PBL (Project-Based Learning), students engaged in activities of their interest where they organized tasks, managed conflicts, and also experienced real-life situations, expressing themselves in front of an audience in English and Spanish. They did not overlook the fun aspect, as they enjoyed becoming reporters and presenters.

ESPAÑOL:
Este año las asignaturas de Inglés y Lengua se han unido para aplicar la metodología Aprendizaje basado en Proyectos para potenciar las habilidades de escribir, investigar y sobre todo hablar en los dos idiomas. Esta iniciativa parte del gusto de los estudiantes relacionado con la televisión y las noticias, y también con la necesidad de crear un medio de comunicación en el que compartan las noticias más recientes que acontecen en su vida escolar y en el mundo.
Los estudiantes se convirtieron en reporteros, indagaron sobre las noticias más actuales a nivel local e internacional y después realizaron un noticiero. En esta actividad exploraron su creatividad al buscar recursos para representar la tarea que les fue asignada.
En este PBL los estudiantes se involucraron en actividades de su interés en las que organizaron las tareas, gestionaron conflictos y además vivieron experiencias de la vida real, expresándose frente a un público en inglés y español, sin dejar de lado la diversión ya que disfrutaron al convertirse en reporteros y presentadores.
