On November 8th, we celebrated STEM Day during our general assembly. On this occasion, the children listened and learned about the meaning of the acronym STEM, which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

Through this experience, they understood the importance of these areas for exploring, researching, and improving the world around us. This activity connects to our Unit of Inquiry “Who We Are,” in which students reflect on their skills, interests, and how they can contribute to society through what they learn.

It was a joyful moment of learning and curiosity that inspires us to keep exploring and discovering together!

El 8 de noviembre celebramos el STEM Day durante nuestro Minuto Cívico. En esta ocasión, los niños escucharon y aprendieron sobre el significado de las siglas STEM, que representan Science (Ciencia), Technology (Tecnología), Engineering (Ingeniería) y Mathematics (Matemáticas).

A través de este espacio, comprendieron la importancia de estas áreas para conocer, investigar y mejorar el mundo que nos rodea. Esta experiencia se relaciona con nuestra Unidad de Indagación “Quiénes somos”, en la que los estudiantes reflexionan sobre sus habilidades, intereses y cómo pueden contribuir a la sociedad con lo que aprenden.

¡Fue un momento lleno de aprendizaje y curiosidad que nos motiva a seguir explorando y descubriendo juntos!
